The Supervision Diploma is a 9-month professional development programme for experienced coaches ready to step into the specialist role of supervisor.
Rooted in research and best practice, this comprehensive training prepares you to supervise ethically, relationally, and systemically - empowering you to support, develop and challenge the coaches you supervise.

Duration
The programme starts in November 2025 and runs for 9 months, offering a blend of theory, reflection and practice to support your development.
Format
The course is delivered in live online teaching, group, and individual reflective development sessions, self-study, and supervision practice, with each cohort limited to 12–15 participants to ensure a high-quality, relational learning experience.
Total Hours
You'll complete a total of 185+ hours (80 hours tutor-led; 52 hours self-study; 40 hours supervision practice; 7.5 hours reflective development; 6 hours supervision).

This programme is designed for professional coaches who meet the following criteria:
A minimum of 3 years’ coaching experience and/or a substantial track record as a practising coach
Willingness to engage in supervision practice with external clients during the programme
Ability to commit to attending at least 80% of live sessions and completing all programme requirements
An established professional coaching practice with regular clients
Commitment to ethical, reflective and relational practice
Active membership (or intention to become a member) of a professional body such as EMCC, AC or ICF

Who is delivering the programme?
The programme is led by Sarah Bramall and Rebecca Daniel, experienced coach supervisors, trainers and co-founders of The Coaching Catalysts. Both are accredited by EMCC, AC, and ICF, and bring decades of experience in coaching, supervision and professional development. They are joined by a small team of trusted faculty, all practising supervisors aligned with the programme's values of integrity, inclusion and ethical practice.

When are the sessions scheduled for?

How much time will I need to invest?
The programme requires 185+ hours over 9 months, including live sessions, supervision practice, self-study, and reflective development sessions. On average, allow 4–6 hours per week.

The Coaching Supervision Diploma is fully accredited by both the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) and the Association for Coaching (AC). It has also been designed in alignment with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies and coaching supervision expectations, providing a robust foundation for coaches who wish to integrate supervision into their professional practice.
The programme prepares participants to apply for individual coaching supervision accreditation with their chosen professional body, subject to meeting the relevant accreditation requirements, including any additional practice hours or evidence required by that organisation.
